The Lodges:
GCC partners with exclusive lodges within the Timbavati Nature Reserve. Every lodge has been vetted, with strong commitments to sustainability, quality service and community engagement programs. These two lodges have been selected for their phenomenal wildlife sightings, radiant service, and exceptional staff.

Nyala Camp
Nyala Camp is located within the Timbavati Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger ecosystem, an unfenced wilderness where wildlife moves freely between reserves. The camp sits under large trees along the banks of a seasonal river, offering a classic and intimate safari setting.
It is an exclusive-use, safari-style camp designed for small groups, accommodating up to eight guests in four spacious rooms connected by wooden walkways.
The camp features shared indoor and outdoor living spaces, including a fully equipped kitchen, lounge areas, a boma and firepit, as well as a viewing deck overlooking the dry riverbed. A swimming pool and additional amenities such as a small gym enhance comfort while maintaining a close connection to the surrounding bush.
Set within a prime wildlife area, the camp offers access to Big Five game viewing, guided drives, and immersive bush experiences in one of South Africa’s most renowned conservation landscapes.

Chimani Camp
Chimani Camp (often referred to as Chimanimani Camp) is located on the western edge of the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger ecosystem. The camp sits within an exclusive traversing area that includes both the perennial Klaserie River and the seasonal Monwana River, supporting a rich diversity of wildlife.
The camp is designed as an exclusive-use safari lodge for small groups, accommodating guests in four modern double rooms, including one interleading unit suitable for families.
Communal spaces include a fully equipped kitchen, indoor lounge with fireplace, outdoor dining areas, a firepit and boma, as well as a swimming pool. The camp is elevated above the surrounding woodland, offering expansive views across the reserve and toward the distant Drakensberg escarpment.
Located within a Big Five reserve, guests have access to guided game drives, bush experiences, and flexible safari activities within a low-density, private traversing area, allowing for intimate and uncrowded wildlife encounters.
